Hello there!
Ah well, such is the busy life of this eejit somehow successfully adulting for a year 
So I've had a hell of a life since March, holy crap. Some of it cool, some shite and some I'm still not too sure happened. I've finished a year as a placement intern, stayed away from home for the first summer since I started uni, loved, lost, made new friends and managed to re-integrate myself into the social circles I'd somewhat lost, moved house, started to build a computer and am due to be credited as a voice actor for the first time ever. The holy hell has been going on like?!
What's more I've been drawing a little!

It's nice to submit art here every so often, feels like I make a little progress to becoming a better sketcher with each deviation 
I've started to ink my sketches again, might actually be getting the hang of drawing more complete pieces - or I'm jumping the gun as usual I'm thinking of switching to using markers over pencils for colouring as well - it takes so long to get a decent colour to show up on the page and when I scan them in they always look so pale. 
I miss bright colours! 
So I'll try something out and see

No seriously I have art to put up and I'm genuinely happy about this
Might draw something this weekend if I get the time and motivation too! I've been absolutely fried recently with the placement job I started earlier in the year, I love the people there and having a job is great but goddamn does the endless routine kill a man x_x Social starvation is becoming a thing and it's kinda been weighing on me recently. Kinda sucks, but here we are. I've always been a 'suck it up and make do' kinda person but I just don't know why I'm not as happy (in general, I'm OK with the job 
) as I should be and used to be.
Some movement in my world
Mainly that there'll be a couple of up-and-back trips to Belfast to get into the new house for this year so I may be less active. After that my uncle is getting married so yaaaay wedding Looking forward to that, last wedding I was at I was about 5 years old On the more long-term side of things, I am starting placement this year so I will probably be less active for deviations here (though I doubt I'll not be online most days
) However, to counter this - and my scanner being the grumpy bastard it is - I will be posting pics of any drawings that I do get around to on my Twitter from now on 
Hopefully this will offset my general lack of uploads here as I'm less worried about the quality of the upload to Twitter My Twitter is here, give a follow if you like what you see and check in from time to time. I can't promise masses of art, but I can promise the less occasional one than here

How long have you been on DeviantArt?
- Four long, relatively inactive and unproductive years now *cries* I don't usually have time to practice (excuses) and uploading is tricky for me without my scanner being generous (it's not) so I REALLY don't have a lot to show for it 
Though I'm an active watcher and love other people's creations just as much so I like to think it balances out (... a little at least )
What does your username mean?
- My eyes have these thin gold rings in their middles, right around the pupil. Thought it was a suitably arty name and to this day is one of my more unique usernames The cooler thing about my eyes is that they're either green or blue at a given time

What was your first deviation?
This attempt at computer colouring lineart - Dunno how I managed to upload it so small either >_<
What is your favourite type of art to create?
I draw manga style with pencils and mechanical pencils Though the type of colouring tends to vary
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Digital art. I love watching some of my friends layer up drawings bit by bit and suddenly *poof* there's a mermaid 
What was your first favourite?
This one I will always love Pokémon Currently drinking tea out of a Pokéball mug! HATERS GON' H8
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Fan art I'd say, mainly Pokemon fan art too Though I will happily favourite anything that catches my eye - or in the case of stock photos - will want to use sometime
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
Two big favourites - arvalis and WestlyLaFleur . Both are digital artists whose styles I love for different reasons. Arvalis is clear, crisp and detailed with a penchant for reptiles and realistic Pokémon. Westly is a great digital painter and can create amazing scenes. Westly is also one of the most driven people I've seen here, posting thoughtful questions and journals every so often and I enjoy how he seems to like picking his watcher's brains. Give them both a look see

That would have to be the lovely MrtViolet

How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
This is a tough one... Westly and MrtViolet are probably the two deviants I've interacted the most with for reasons stated above If I'd not come across the two of them I might not have bothered to come back to DA at all. It's rare these days that I find the motivation to draw but those two always seem to poke me into doing something - directly or indirectly Btw, MrtViolet I DID do the pen challenge and will try and post it somehow
What are your preferred tools to create art?
Pencil and paper, though as I said colouring varies all the time 
I've used markers, pencils and Photoshop to colour my attempts at creating art
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
In my room, at my desk. It's not so much inspiration that strikes me as motivation - Often I'm reading or chilling or watching something when I just get the urge to draw something (usually thematically related to whatever I was at) and I will arise and go to my desk and attempt to put my brain to paper. Leaves my gallery fairly empty though, but I can never seem to sit myself down and just draw things these days. Hasn't happened in a long time
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
Toughest question of the lot really... Probably seeing my Most favourited drawing pick up it's title one star at a time, either that or getting my caped llama

Life Update
College has finally let up for summer so I have TIME AGAIN! Though sadly I have no goddamn cash now so I still can't do much -_- Such is my life eh? 
I have a couple drawings (new and old) to upload though my goddamn scanner is being a picky bastard again so it'll be a while before I can get them up :/ some of them need finishing anyways and I might try colouring a few of them on Photoshop too after picking up CS2
Life's taken a turn or two for the easier at the moment, managed to land myself a year's placement working with a web development company here in Belfast starting in August (which excites and terrifies me) so I'm learning a LOT of new programming languages cuz Games Dev doesn't do much in that sphere
Using Khan Academy to pick up JavaScript atm and will hopefully have it somewhat down, HTML and CSS refreshed and (big maybe) PHP started by then :S Exams went well enough too, I'm pretty sure I got enough to progress to the Master's year after my placement so that's another worry down Here's hoping I get that scanner sorted soon, been to long since I posted
